We're seeking a skilled and enthusiastic individual to join our kitchen team as a Cook-Bent Tree. As a key member of our team, you'll play a vital role in delivering exceptional dining experiences to our customers.
Responsibilities:- Prepare fresh food items daily, ensuring accuracy and quality.
- Set up and stock stations with necessary supplies, maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
- Develop and maintain menu and product knowledge, providing excellent customer service.
- Manage orders efficiently, ensuring timely delivery and high customer satisfaction.
- Prepare catering orders, meeting customer expectations and deadlines.
- Adhere to proper food handling and storage procedures, maintaining a safe and healthy environment.
- Maintain proper hygiene, uniform, and appearance, upholding the standards of our brand.
- Clean and maintain kitchen, dish, and prep areas, ensuring a clean and welcoming environment.
- Perform shift-side work, including opening and closing duties, to ensure seamless operations.
- Complete all required certifications for Kitchen Team Members in our training platform.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Experienced preferred, but not required - we'll provide training.
- Proper knife skills and ability to operate necessary kitchen equipment.
- Good communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with the team as needed.
- Strong work ethic, passion, and urgency to deliver exceptional results.
- Dependable and reliable, with a professional attitude and respect for coworkers, the establishment, and the brand.
A typical work day at Taziki's Cafe may include morning shifts from 8am to 4pm, evenings from 4pm to 10pm, weekends, and holidays. Hours will vary by store, and you'll work in a typical restaurant kitchen environment.
Your physical requirements include prolonged standing, bending, stooping, twisting, lifting/carrying up to 30 pounds, and cooking.
