We're seeking a skilled and enthusiastic individual to join our kitchen team as a Cook-Winward. As a key member of our team, you'll play a vital role in delivering exceptional dining experiences to our customers.

• Food Preparation: Prepare fresh food items daily, ensuring accuracy and quality.
• Station Setup: Set up and stock stations with necessary supplies, maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
• Menu Knowledge: Develop and maintain menu and product knowledge to provide excellent customer service.
• Order Management: Manage orders efficiently, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
• Catering: Prepare catering orders to meet customer needs.
• Food Safety: Maintain proper food handling and storage of food products, adhering to health department standards.
• Hygiene and Appearance: Maintain proper hygiene, uniform, and appearance, setting a positive example for the team.
• Cleaning and Maintenance: Clean and maintain kitchen, dish, and prep areas, ensuring a safe and healthy environment.
• Shift Duties: Perform shift-side work, including opening and closing duties, to ensure seamless operations.
• Certifications: Complete all course certifications for Kitchen Team Members in our training platform.

• Age: Must be at least 18 years old.
• Experience: Experienced preferred but not required - we will train you.
• Knife Skills: Possess proper knife skills and ability to operate all necessary kitchen equipment.
• Communication: Demonstrate good communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Teamwork: Ability to work independently and collaborate with the team as necessary.
• Work Ethic: Display a strong work ethic with passion and urgency.
• Reliability: Be dependable and reliable, with a flexible schedule.
• Professionalism: Maintain a professional attitude and respect for coworkers, the establishment, and the brand.

A typical work day at Taziki's Cafe may include morning shifts from 8am to 4pm, evening shifts from 4pm to 10pm, weekends, and holidays. Hours will vary by store. You'll work in a typical restaurant kitchen environment, using equipment such as a flattop and char grill, oven, slicer, mixer, and food processor.

Your physical requirements include prolonged standing, bending, stooping, twisting, lifting/carrying up to 30 pounds, and cooking.
