Job Overview

At TechnologyAdvice, we're seeking a highly skilled Strategic Account Director to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for meeting or exceeding sales goals within a set of client enterprise strategic accounts.

As a Strategic Account Director, you will use a consultative approach to determine customers' needs and provide them with possible business solutions. You will bring previous industry knowledge to the table and work closely with our sales enablement team to drive business forward.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive account/territory plan
  • Actively seek out new sales opportunities through cold outreach, networking, and social media
  • Create and execute key sales and business development initiatives to increase the sales pipeline
  • Conduct market research to identify selling possibilities and evaluate customer needs
  • Sell products by establishing contact and developing relationships with prospects
  • Create and articulate compelling value propositions around TA offerings to prepare and deliver appropriate proposals that accurately describe those products and set proper expectations
  • Identify product improvements or new products by remaining current on industry trends, market activities, and competitors
  • Manage contract negotiations
  • Participate in exhibitions, conferences, and onsite client meetings on behalf of the company
  • Negotiate and close deals by handling rebuttals and objections

Requirements:

  • Proven track record in securing complex, multi-million-dollar deals in demand generation and digital media, driving substantial revenue growth.
  • Unrelenting drive and competitive spirit, consistently thriving in high-pressure environments.
  • Ability to craft and implement sophisticated account/territory plans with long-term growth objectives.
  • Skilled in diagnosing client needs and designing tailored high-impact business solutions.
  • Demonstrated success in negotiating complex contracts, ensuring win-win outcomes.
  • Deep expertise in digital media and demand generation, anticipating tech buyer trends.
  • Agile professional who excels in a fast-paced environment and thrives on continuously pivoting strategies to drive business needs forward

Work Authorization:

Employer work visa sponsorship and support are not provided for this role. Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States at hire in an employer-approved US state and must maintain authorization to work in the United States throughout their employment with our company.

Salary Range:

We seek to hire top-tier individuals and intend for our compensation to be at a rate that allows us to recruit and retain individuals who align with our core values, purpose, mission, and vision. Final total compensation is based on a multitude of factors including, but not limited to, skill level, relevant experience to the position, and cost of labor.

Base pay range represents 50-60% of total OTE, with remaining OTE based on earned commission.
