Job Summary

Pace is seeking a detail-oriented Accountant to join the organization and team. The Accountant will be responsible for assisting the Controller and becoming an integral part of the accounting team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare monthly/quarterly/yearly financials, reports, and budgets according to schedule in a timely manner.
  • Assist with audits and yearly reports and schedules in a timely manner.
  • Verify and post and reconcile all transactions that are properly documented in accordance with accounting standards and government regulations.
  • Responsible for maintaining daily cash flow and reconciling cash and balance sheet accounts.
  • Work on various tasks and reports assigned by the Controller.
Requirements:
  • Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or Finance from an accredited college or university.
  • Minimum two years experience as an accountant/bookkeeper.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel is a must.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Experience with non-profits and MIP Fund Accounting is highly desirable.
Special Requirements:
  • Must satisfactorily pass background and employment/reference check.
  • Must have valid Driver's License with adequate auto insurance.
  • Must pass pre-employment physical examination including drug and alcohol screening.
  • COVID vaccination required; must have two-dose series of Pfizer or Moderna or a single-dose of Johnson & Johnson. Those that need a medical or religious exemption must reach out separately.
