Morgan Hunt UK Limited is collaborating with an NHS Trust in Kent to find a suitable candidate for the role of Finance Business Partner.

This position is a contract opportunity with a competitive hourly rate and requires full-time office presence.

Key Responsibilities of the Finance Business Partner:

  • Deliver comprehensive financial insights and guidance to various Divisions and Directorates, ensuring efficient resource allocation and strict budget management.
  • Enhance budgetary responsibility through regular assessments of financial outcomes, providing advice on cost-effectiveness and productivity enhancements.
  • Lead and nurture a finance team, offering sound financial counsel while promoting a service-oriented approach.
  • Facilitate initial support in crafting and executing business proposals, ensuring thorough financial evaluation and sound recommendations.
  • Guarantee the timely and precise delivery of financial data to both internal and external stakeholders, in compliance with financial governance and control measures.
  • Evaluate the financial implications of integrated care pathways, contributing detailed insights into ICB processes and pursuing economy-wide financial strategies.
  • Formulate and execute long-term financial plans, standardizing procedures and enhancing financial systems for improved efficiency and effectiveness.

Manage the financial operations for Divisions, which includes monthly financial reporting, cost reduction initiatives, budgeting, and adherence to established financial principles and policies.

Previous Skills and Experience of the Finance Business Partner:

  • Experience within the NHS environment.
  • A minimum of 3 years post-qualification experience.
  • In-depth knowledge of accounting standards and regulations.
  • Understanding of strategic issues and priorities within the NHS.
