Position Overview:

The Financial Planning Consultant Enterprise Finance serves as the primary financial and accounting liaison to the assigned WakeMed enterprise, playing a critical role in driving financial performance and strategic growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Direction of key financial functions, including financial and capital planning, performance management, productivity, month-end variance analysis, and financial analysis for new projects and Certificates of Need.
  • Coordination and reporting of financial results to corporate finance and accounting, as well as enterprise operational leadership and staff.
  • Facilitation of facility benchmarking and cost accounting updates for the enterprise.
  • Participation in leadership committees and process improvement initiatives across the enterprise and corporate offices.
  • Collaboration with the corporate finance and accounting offices on all projects and reports.

Requirements:

8 Years of experience in Accounting/Finance, with a focus on Financial Management in the Healthcare industry.

10 Years of experience in Accounting/Finance, with a focus on Financial Management in the Healthcare industry, preferred.

Education:

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, required.

Master's Degree in a related field, preferred.

Licensure/Certification:

Certified Public Accountant (CPA), preferred.

Work Schedule:

8:00am - 5:00pm, Monday through Friday.

Weekend and Call Requirements:

As needed.
