Job Title: Polysomnography Technologist RPSGT

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Polysomnography Technologist RPSGT to join our team at The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. As a Polysomnography Technologist RPSGT, you will play a critical role in providing comprehensive evaluation of sleep disorders in children and adults.

Responsibilities:
Prepares and calibrates equipment required for testing to determine proper functioning and makes adjustments, if necessary. Applies electrodes and sensors according to accepted published standards and performs appropriate physiologic calibrations. Documents routine observations, changes in procedure, and significant events to facilitate scoring and interpretation of polysomnographic results. Follows procedural protocols to ensure collection of appropriate data.

Requirements:
High School Diploma / GED Required. Technical Diploma in Polysomnography, Respiratory Therapy, or EEG Program Required. Associate's Degree Preferred. At least one (1) year experience Required. At least two (2) years Polysomnography Technology or Respiratory Therapy experience Preferred. Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) (Pennsylvania) - Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists - upon hire - Required. Basic Life Support (BLS) - issued through an organization that requires a hands-on instructor lead psychomotor skills verification (e.g. American Heart Association or Red Cross) - upon hire - Required.
