Job Title: Polysomnography Technologist RRT

Children's Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) is seeking a skilled Polysomnography Technologist RRT to join our team. As a key member of our Sleep Center, you will play a critical role in providing comprehensive evaluation of sleep disorders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct polysomnography and diagnostic services to assess sleep disorders
  • Prepare and calibrate equipment for testing, ensuring proper signals and making adjustments as needed
  • Document routine observations, changes in procedure, and significant events to facilitate scoring and interpretation of polysomnographic results
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide patient care and education
  • Participate in research and quality improvement initiatives to enhance clinical practice and patient outcomes
Requirements:
  • Associate's Degree in Respiratory Therapy or related field
  • At least one year of experience in respiratory therapy, with a focus on sleep disorders
  • Current licensure as a Respiratory Therapist in Pennsylvania or New Jersey
  • Basic Life Support certification
  • Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) or Registered Respiratory Therapist Sleep Disorder Specialist (RRT-SDS) certification preferred
