  • Check out patients, schedule follow-up appointments, and provide necessary paperwork
  • Answer phones, route communication, and document patient interactions in the EMR system
  • Manage incoming mail and fax documents, process medical record requests, and referrals
  • Perform end-of-day reconciliation of cash and credit card payments
  • Maintain a clean and organized patient waiting area and ensure proper notification of appointment times
Requirements
  • High school diploma required; two-year college degree preferred
  • Proven work experience in a healthcare facility or strong customer service experience
  • Knowledge of insurance and medical terminology
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to utilize computer programs
