We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Document Control Specialist to join our team at Stantec. As a key member of our Buildings business unit, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and consistency of project documentation.
Key Responsibilities- Document Management: Maintain a current and accurate understanding of project status, issues, and changes, and provide solutions and guidance to the business center and project teams to ensure that document control procedures, processes, and systems are clearly understood and properly utilized.
- Revision Tracking: Responsible for general document and revision tracking, and coordination and use of software platforms for the coordination of project deliverables.
- Administrative Support: Support team members in the proposal process, and provide general administrative activities, including records retention and support for various employee programs.
- Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to prioritize and organize multiple concurrent assignments.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat, with prior experience in document controls / administrative assistant role and/or consulting or working for a Construction Manager/General Contractor a plus.
- Years of Experience: 3 plus years of experience, with a preferred 2-year Construction Management Degree or equivalent experience.
