About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Supplier Engineer to join our team at Raytheon. As a key member of our Operations and Supply Chain organization, you will play a critical role in planning and executing the production of our wide range of weapon systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Technical Expertise: Provide technical knowledge and process capability expertise to improve supplier performance.
  • Supplier Engagement: Communicate and translate technical data packages to suppliers, conduct supplier engagements related to capability, capacity, opportunity, and risk.
  • Technical Evaluations: Perform technical evaluations in support of cost and price analysis.
  • Supplier Management: Manage supplier requests for product and process changes, manage product non-conformances, and drive root cause and corrective action.
  • Improvement Opportunities: Prioritize and execute improvement opportunities, communicate the technical health of our suppliers to stakeholders.
  • Travel: Support travel as required.
Requirements
  • Education: Requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience unless prohibited by local laws/regulations.
  • Security Clearance: The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required.
  • Citizenship: U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Manufacturing Engineering Experience: Experience with Manufacturing Engineering is strongly preferred.
  • Design and Development Experience: Experience with design and development of products that fall within the electrical or mechanical engineering discipline.
  • Supplier Assessments: Experience performing supplier assessments.

Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit and whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.
