Position Summary:
The Mechanical Sales Specialist is responsible for executing solution-oriented sales strategies, managing client accounts, and overseeing sales activities to drive growth.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with clients, property managers, and decision-makers.
  • Drive business development through proactive outreach, including cold calling and networking.
  • Close sales effectively to enhance business growth.
  • Market preventive maintenance packages and service agreements for heating and cooling systems to commercial and industrial clients.
  • Communicate efficiently with both internal teams and external clients.
  • Manage workload effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Promote the corporate brand among commercial clientele.
  • Oversee customer accounts and relationships, ensuring satisfaction and sales performance.
  • Provide regular sales forecasts and insights.
  • Expand market presence by establishing new client relationships.
  • Collaborate with the Service Sales team to optimize account management.
  • Offer solutions to reduce clients' operating costs through enhanced system efficiency.
  • Assess customer satisfaction and lead initiatives for performance improvement.
  • Perform additional duties as required.

Supervisory Role:
No supervisory responsibilities are associated with this position.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 2 years of sales experience or equivalent education and experience, preferably in a construction-related field.
  • Proficient in MS Office and CRM software.
  • Knowledgeable in Commercial HVAC systems and energy efficiency.

Candidates must demonstrate the ability to multitask, work independently, follow instructions, pay attention to detail, and exhibit problem-solving capabilities.

Successful candidates will be required to pass a pre-employment drug screening and may undergo additional background checks as necessary.


Work Environment:
This position is primarily office-based, utilizing standard office equipment, with occasional visits to construction sites.
Physical Requirements:
The role involves regular use of office equipment such as computers, phones, and photocopiers.
Travel Requirements:
Infrequent travel may be necessary, typically not requiring overnight stays.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Previous military experience.
  • High School diploma or GED equivalent.
