Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Janitorial Specialist to join our team at Bremerton Housing. As a key member of our facilities maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of our apartment buildings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clean and maintain building floors, walls, and windows
  • Perform heavy cleaning duties, including sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming
  • Service, clean, and supply restrooms
  • Monitor dumpster areas and haul trash to waste disposal facilities
  • Notify management of maintenance needs and requisition supplies as necessary
  • Perform minor adjustments to heating, cooling, and electrical systems
  • Drive vans or industrial trucks to travel to work sites
Requirements
  • 1+ years of experience in janitorial or facilities maintenance
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds or more
  • Valid driver's license
Work Environment

This position will work primarily indoors in various apartment buildings, with occasional outdoor work in various weather conditions. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
