About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at Kitsap Mental Health Services. As a Registered Nurse, you will provide high-quality nursing care and medical supervision to clients in our Adult Inpatient Unit and Youth Inpatient Unit.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide nursing care and medical supervision to clients in all units of 24/7 Services
  • Collaborate with the shift supervisors to create a positive and safe working environment
  • Examine and assess clients upon admission, determine if client is medically stable, and provide care within the scope of practice of 24/7 Services
  • Document client care, medication, and treatment administration, and evaluate, monitor, and document client responses to medication, treatments, progress to mental health goals, and plan of care
  • Administer medications and treatment in a safe manner in accordance to standardized nursing guidelines
  • Participate in discharge planning, review of treatment goals, assist in client medication educational needs, ordering of discharge medications, etc.

Requirements

  • Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse license in Washington State
  • Associates degree in Nursing (Bachelors degree in Nursing preferred)
  • Entry-level (no prior related work experience) or experienced (minimum two years of job-related experience)
