Job Title: Indoor Air Quality Specialist

Location: Nationwide

Overview:

Temp Right Service is seeking a dedicated Indoor Air Quality Specialist to join our team. The Indoor Air Quality Specialist will be responsible for assessing and improving indoor air quality in various settings such as residential and commercial environments. This role is crucial in ensuring the health, comfort, and productivity of occupants by identifying and mitigating air quality issues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of indoor air quality using appropriate testing equipment and techniques.
  • Analyze data from air quality tests and provide detailed reports outlining findings, potential risks, and recommendations for improvement.
  • Collaborate with customers, building managers, and stakeholders to understand specific IAQ concerns and develop solutions.
  • Recommend and implement strategies to mitigate indoor air pollutants, including but not limited to ventilation improvements, filtration systems, and source control measures.
  • Stay current with industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to indoor air quality.
  • Educate customers on the importance of IAQ and the potential health effects associated with poor indoor air quality.
  • Provide guidance on maintaining optimal IAQ standards through regular monitoring and periodic evaluations.
  • Perform air duct cleanings and building envelope weatherization at customer locations both residential and commercial.

Qualifications:

  • Certified Indoor Air Quality Professional certification or ability to obtain.
  • Experience working with residential customers in the home.
  • Sales acumen and the ability to explain different service offerings and make recommendations.
  • Experience in conducting assessments, interpreting results, and implementing corrective actions.
  • Proficiency in using monitoring equipment and analytical tools.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey information directly to customers.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Understanding of relevant regulations and guidelines (e.g., EPA Indoor Air Quality Guidelines) is advantageous.
