Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Field Service Engineer to support our customer site at the Theater Mission Planning Center (TMPC). As a key member of our team, you will work directly with the customer onsite, providing expertise in the configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of Microsoft/Linux OS: Windows 10/11, Server 2016/2019, RedHat 7.x/8.x/9.x in support of the TMPC products developed by Peraton.

Key Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose system/software issues to ensure seamless operation of TMPC products.
  • Maintain systems with software and security updates to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Support system upgrades/installations to ensure timely delivery of TMPC products.
  • Support cyber security accreditation of TMPC products to ensure the highest level of security.
  • Investigate and report software discrepancies to ensure quality and reliability of TMPC products.
  • Support test events and other related customer requirements to ensure customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
  • 5 years of experience with a Bachelor's degree, 3 years with a Master's degree, or 0 years with a Ph.D. in lieu of degree, with 9 years of applicable experience acceptable.
  • Active DoD Top Secret/SCI clearance.
  • Must have or obtain DoD Directive 8570 Information Assurance compliance (Security+ certification) and Computing Environment compliance within 6 months.
  • Technical knowledge and experience with Microsoft products, including Operating Systems, SQL, PowerShell, and Office.
  • Strong Windows background - Windows/RedHat.
  • General knowledge of networking.
  • Possess good oral and written skills.
Desired Skills
  • Prior US Navy experience with Tomahawk background.
  • Operation knowledge of Theater Mission Planning Center (TMPC).
  • Possess software and/or systems engineering skills.

Target Salary Range

$86,000 - $138,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
