Job Summary:We are seeking an Employment Peer Support Specialist to join our team. As an Employment Peer Support Specialist, you will utilize your personal journey to address obstacles and facilitators, debunk misconceptions, and advocate for Community Integrated Employment.
Responsibilities:- Advocate for Community Integrated Employment to individuals or groups in a 14c environment.
- Ensure thorough documentation in accordance with Benchmark Human Services, AWRC, and state/federal regulations.
- Attend scheduled training sessions.
- Collaborate with supervisors to create tailored training plans based on individual strengths.
- Conduct training sessions focusing on targeted skill development.
- Facilitate connections to relevant services and resources for enhanced employment outcomes.
- Identify and support individuals in their journey towards employment.
- Maintain regular communication with supervisors and serve as a key member of an individual's support team.
- Adhere to all safety standards for the well-being of individuals.'
- Must have experience working in 14C setting
- Must currently be working in a community integrated setting/competitive integrated employment
