Position Overview

This is a full-time position with an hourly compensation structure.

Work Schedule:

Monday - Friday, 7:30 AM - 5:00 PM

The Customer Service Specialist is responsible for providing superior, friendly, and efficient service while offering company-approved products and services to ensure a positive experience for all clients. This position also facilitates the rental process by verifying and documenting all necessary driver information to ensure an efficient and timely rental and return experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Handle incoming calls for reservations, rate inquiries, and general questions, providing information and solutions for customers, other branches, insurance firms, dealerships, repair shops, and other vendors.
  • Manage outgoing calls for callback management and miscellaneous tasks as assigned.
  • Deliver high-quality customer service by assisting clients and evaluating their rental needs both in person and over the phone.
  • Greet clients in a friendly and timely manner.
  • Provide directions and general assistance as needed.
  • Assist in assessing the condition of rentals upon return.
  • Process returns, check-ins, and exit kiosk transactions.
  • Effectively promote the company while safely transporting clients and assisting them as required.
  • Understand and communicate rental terms, vehicle features, and additional services.
  • May sell optional protection products, upgrades, fuel options, and other supplementary equipment.
  • Notify management of any known vehicle issues and necessary maintenance.
  • Clean vehicle interiors and exteriors as needed.
  • Perform various administrative and basic accounting functions, including research and billing support tasks, accounts receivable, key logs, and report generation.
  • Execute miscellaneous and backup job-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • A high school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
  • Some college education is preferred.
  • At least 1 year of prior customer service or administrative support experience is necessary.
  • A valid driver's license with no more than 2 moving violations or at-fault accidents in the past 3 years is required.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States without requiring work authorization sponsorship now or in the future.
  • Apart from religious observance, must be able to work the following schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM.
