Senior Customer Service Specialist

The Senior Customer Service Specialist will deliver exceptional customer support by assisting both internal and external clients, primarily through direct interactions, to fulfill their branch and rental requirements. This role will acquire expertise through localized training and practical experience to offer administrative assistance, serve customers, and act as a rental backup in a significant branch or airport setting. This is a full-time role.
Work Schedule:
Monday - Friday, 7:30 AM - 5:00 PM

The Customer Service Specialist is responsible for ensuring friendly, efficient transactions while offering company-approved services and products to enhance the customer experience. This position also streamlines the rental process by verifying and documenting all necessary driver information to ensure a smooth rental and return experience.
Key Responsibilities- Handle incoming calls for reservations, rate inquiries, and general information, providing solutions for customers, other branches, insurance firms, dealerships, repair shops, and vendors.
- Manage outgoing calls for follow-ups, accounts receivable, and miscellaneous tasks as assigned.
- Deliver high-quality customer service by assessing rental needs both in-person and over the phone.
- Greet customers warmly and promptly.
- Provide directions and general assistance as needed.
- Assist in evaluating the condition of rentals upon return.
- Process returns, check-ins, and transactions at exit kiosks.
- Effectively promote the company while safely transporting customers and assisting them as required.
- Understand and communicate rental terms, vehicle features, and additional services.
- May offer optional protection products, upgrades, fuel options, and other supplementary equipment.
- Notify management of any known vehicle issues and required maintenance.
- Clean vehicle interiors and exteriors as necessary.
- Perform various administrative and basic accounting tasks, including research and billing support, accounts receivable, transfer and key logs, generating reports, and supply maintenance.
- Carry out miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- A high school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
- Some college education is preferred.
- At least 1 year of prior customer service or administrative support experience is necessary.
- A valid driver's license with no more than 2 moving violations or at-fault accidents in the past 3 years is required.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States without requiring work authorization sponsorship now or in the future.
- Apart from religious observance, must be able to work the following schedule:
- Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
