Job Summary

As the Unit Director of Facilities overseeing Off-Site Properties, you will lead the overall management of the Plant Operations & Maintenance Departments within all of the Off-Site properties managed by Compass Group Poland Sp. z o.o. You will plan, prioritize, and control functions and activities under the scope of the contract.

Key Responsibilities
  • Reviews and evaluates existing programs, services, policies, and procedures to ensure alignment with company goals.
  • Supervises the flow and quality of work to assure completion of workload and consistency to facility standards.
  • Prepares and leads departmental budgets, including utilities and energy savings programs.
  • Ensures compliance with regulatory bodies such as the Joint Commission, State Health Department, EPA, DEP, ADA, UST, and other relevant authorities.
  • Supervises work performance and prepares and/or reviews performance evaluations for assigned personnel.
  • Guides employees on salient features of facility personnel and employee relations programs and answers any questions.
  • Plans, coordinates, and supervises construction and development of physical facilities.
  • Reviews, evaluates, and recommends approval of plans for construction.
  • Serves as liaison with contractors, architects, engineers, and material and equipment suppliers.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related field.
  • 2 years of responsibility at a Director Level or 5 years of responsibility at a Director Level in areas of Property Management and Construction.
  • The ability to read, comprehend, and transmit complicated detailed instructions orally and in writing.
  • Proficiency in CMMS Systems, Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Ability to meet established goals and objectives.
  • Possess a strong knowledge and understanding of all buildings' mechanical, structural, and electrical systems.
  • Must have knowledge and expertise in TJC, CMS, EPA, and OSHA codes and regulations and the ability to interpret and implement.
