Key Responsibilities- Facilities Management: Coordinate and supervise the Center's facilities management program, including building maintenance, construction projects, and equipment upgrades.
- Project Management: Assist in the preparation of budgets for maintenance projects, oversee project execution, resolve complex work problems, and recommend contract change orders.
- Compliance and Regulations: Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws and regulations, and coordinate facilities project activities with other Center sites and departments.
- Staff Supervision: Supervise and train maintenance and operations personnel, including trade skills enhancement related to maintenance standards and procedures.
- Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and present facilities reports and analyses to management, and assess and communicate recommendations for utilization of space, space needs, equipment, personnel, and other resources.
- Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree or certification preferred, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in facilities operations management, preferably in a healthcare environment.
- Skills and Qualifications: Valid NYS driver's license, basic computer skills, and proficiency in plumbing, electricity, carpentry, and mechanical knowledge.
- Other Requirements: Ability to work flexible scheduling, including weekend or evening hours, and a clean NYS driver's license.
