About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Architect to join our K-12 practice at DLR Group. As a Project Architect, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of project document development for complex K-12 projects, both large and small.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage project document development, ensuring high-quality deliverables within established project schedules.
  • Coordinate with project team members to maintain work product quality and ensure project financial health.
  • Partner with Project Managers to ensure project success, quality, and client satisfaction.
  • Lead cross-functional design disciplines in developing technical solutions, applying advanced architectural concepts and innovative techniques.
  • Review cost estimates for design alignment and manage time in alignment with the project workplan.
  • Communicate effectively with the project team through written, oral, and visual means, and lead collaboration to generate design solutions.
  • Engage peers and specialty experts for holistic solutions and participate in client presentations.
  • Meet deliverable deadlines, understand construction and material costs, and ensure alignment with the project budget.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Architecture or related field.
  • 6-8 years of experience as a Project Architect.
  • Proficient in REVIT and CAD computer modeling and rendering software.
  • The ability to travel occasionally to support project tasks.
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States without need for work visa or residency sponsorship.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Licensure in California
  • DSA
  • Have a demonstrated K-12 educational portfolio.
