Project Manager/Architect Opportunity

Northern Impact is seeking a highly skilled Project Manager/Architect to join its team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading project teams, ensuring effective coordination among consultants, and establishing project schedules, deliverables, and milestones for clear timelines.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead project teams, ensuring effective coordination among consultants.
  • Organize and lead client and team meetings for efficient project progress.
  • Establish project schedules, deliverables, and milestones for clear timelines.
  • Develop comprehensive construction documents, emphasizing project detailing and basis of design.
  • Assign tasks, set goals, and coordinate deliverables within the team for streamlined workflow.
  • Lead quality assurance reviews to ensure high standards in project outcomes.
  • Collaborate on design and assist in design presentations for effective communication.
  • Coordinate construction administration efforts, ensuring smooth project execution.
  • Manage the production of the Revit model in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Navigate through permitting and plan check processes with various jurisdictions.
Requirements:
  • Professional Degree in Architecture from an accredited program.
  • Minimum of 6 years' experience in an architectural office.
  • Expertise in designing, documenting, and constructing multi-family buildings.
  • Advanced proficiency in Revit with demonstrated knowledge and experience.
  • Familiarity with technical aspects of architecture and construction document assembly.
  • Knowledge of state and local building codes, including accessibility requirements.
  • Strong multitasking abilities, prioritizing tasks effectively against deadlines.
  • Self-starting attitude with excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Aesthetic sensitivity with a commitment to design excellence.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Skills:
  • Demonstrated knowledge in DD/CD/Permitting on large multi-family projects.
  • Familiar with Type VA and Type IA construction.
  • California multi-family project experience (K-12, higher education, and/or educational campus master planning a plus).
