Veterinary Receptionist

We are seeking a dedicated and customer-focused Veterinary Receptionist to provide excellent customer service and ensure the smooth operation of our clinic.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Greeting Clients: Warmly welcome clients and their pets as they enter the clinic, creating a friendly and professional atmosphere.
  • Answering Phone Calls and Emails: Manage incoming calls and emails promptly and professionally, addressing client inquiries, appointment requests, and general information.
  • Scheduling Appointments: Efficiently schedule and reschedule appointments using practice management software, accurately inputting patient information.
  • Checking Clients In and Out: Streamline the check-in and check-out process, verifying appointments, processing payments, and addressing client concerns.
  • Scanning of Medical Documents: Maintain organized digital records by scanning and cataloging important medical documents and records.
  • Cleaning and Maintaining Reception Area: Keep the reception area clean, organized, and welcoming at all times, ensuring a positive client experience.
Requirements:
  • Previous Experience: Previous experience in a customer service or receptionist role is preferred.
  • Software Familiarity: Familiarity with Avimark or similar veterinary practice management software is a plus.
  • Experience in Veterinary Field: Must have 1 year of experience working in the veterinary field.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Organizational Abilities: Exceptional organizational abilities and attention to detail.
  • Love for Animals: A genuine love for animals and a commitment to providing excellent care.
