About the Role

As an IT Support Specialist at Intercare Health Network, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our computer systems and infrastructure. This is a full-time position with competitive compensation, including a salary of $23.46 per hour.

Job Responsibilities
  • Provide phone and desk-side end-user support for employees, focusing on troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to desktop PCs, laptops, printers, scanners, and other equipment.
  • Manage PC and laptop refresh projects, including imaging and deploying new computers, monitoring computer status to prioritize upgrades and replacements.
  • Participate in new user provisioning and recovery of returning equipment, including provisioning telecom services, cloud application services, and assigning application licenses as required.
  • Maintain inventory of equipment, supplies, and spare parts in the IT Department storage, register new IT equipment received into inventory system, and repair user computers and coordinate warranty repairs as needed.
  • Provide cross-over support within the department, serving as a backup for other IT staff as needed and performing "remote hands" service for team members.
Requirements
  • An associate's degree program in IT or equivalent experience; a bachelor's degree is preferred.
  • Extensive knowledge of Windows workstations in an Active Directory domain, PC hardware, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent hardware and software troubleshooting skills, basic network support skills, and logical thinking ability.
