Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Clinical Support Specialist to join our emergency department team at Northern Light Health. In this role, you will play a critical part in supporting our interdisciplinary team, ensuring seamless communication and coordination among staff members, and providing exceptional patient care.

About the Job
The Clinical Support Specialist will be responsible for coordinating unit activities, managing patient records, processing physician orders, and ensuring the smooth operation of our emergency department. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with nurses, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient care and improve patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
* Coordinate assigned unit activities, ensuring efficient and effective operations
* Manage patient records, including assembling, filing, and updating charts and reports
* Process physician orders, transcribing and entering information into our electronic medical record system
* Coordinate safe patient transport and other tasks as directed by management
* Develop and implement plans for professional growth and development, staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices
* Maintain a safe environment, adhering to Northern Light Health policies and procedures, and reporting any hazards or safety concerns to management

Requirements
* High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred
* Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification or equivalent required
* Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

Compensation
$60,000 - $70,000 per year, depending on experience. Our comprehensive benefits package includes health, dental, and vision insurance, as well as paid time off and opportunities for professional growth and development.
