About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated individual to fill the position of Caregiver Support Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for providing direct support to caregivers and their children through home visits, community-based activities, and resource linkage. This is an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of families and communities.

As a Caregiver Support Specialist, you will work closely with families to identify their unique needs and provide guidance and support to promote positive relationships between caregivers and children. You will also be responsible for conducting community programming activities, including planning and coordinating events to connect families and promote community knowledge of available resources.

The ideal candidate will have a degree in a related field and relevant work/life experience. They will also possess excellent communication skills, a passion for service, and the ability to work independently as part of a team. A strong understanding of social/emotional development and a willingness to learn are also essential.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct support to caregivers and their children through home visits, community-based activities, and resource linkage.
  • Conduct community programming activities, including planning and coordinating events to connect families and promote community knowledge of available resources.
  • Support families in identifying their unique needs and providing guidance and support to promote positive relationships between caregivers and children.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with community partners and stakeholders to ensure seamless coordination and delivery of services.
