UniFirst is in search of a Service Route Operations Manager to become a vital part of our team. This role involves overseeing and guiding a group of Route Service Supervisors and Route Service Representatives who cater to a diverse clientele, from small local businesses to large corporate entities. The ideal candidate will focus on enhancing customer satisfaction, fostering account growth, and ensuring profitability at their designated location.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Service Route Operations Manager, you will:

  • Oversee the recruitment, training, and development of Route Service Representatives and Route Service Supervisors.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, enhancing your team's performance in customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate closely with the location management team to deliver exceptional customer service and product offerings.
  • Negotiate contract renewals with customers.

We seek an individual who is business-oriented and enjoys discovering innovative strategies to boost profitability and enhance customer satisfaction within their UniFirst location. The ideal candidate will be:

  • A results-driven relationship manager who is willing to support the team and prioritize customer needs.
  • Enthusiastic about mentoring and assisting Route Service Representatives and Supervisors in their professional development.
  • Possessing a High School Diploma or GED; a bachelor's degree is preferred.
  • Experienced in customer service.
  • Skilled in problem-solving and managing various customer service scenarios.
  • Capable of negotiating, training, coaching, and leading a team.
  • Proficient in computer applications (MS Office).
  • Excellent in verbal and written communication.
  • At least 21 years of age.
  • Holder of a valid driver's license.
  • Able to meet pre-employment physical requirements.
  • Physically capable of lifting up to 50 pounds.
