Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver materials and equipment to specific route destinations using a 28-foot and/or 40-foot tractor-trailer with a liftgate.
  • Backing in and out of docks, ensuring safe and efficient operations.
  • Drive CDL trucks to transport materials and equipment to specific route destinations, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
  • Provide excellent customer service, communicating effectively with customers and representing the company in a professional manner.
  • Conduct regular checks on the mechanical aspects of the vehicle, reporting any maintenance or repair issues to the appropriate personnel.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience as a local CDL A route delivery driver, preferably with touch freight and/or food industry delivery experience.
  • Current DOT Medical Card and ability to pass pre-employment DOT drug and criminal background screen.
  • Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License with air brakes endorsement.
  • Excellent physical condition, with the ability to stand, sit, kneel, bend, lift, push, and pull for extended periods, and normal use of senses.
  • Able to work in various environments and under difficult conditions, including hot, cold, dust, indoors, and outdoors.
  • Legally eligible to work in the U.S.
  • Ability to read, speak, write, and understand English.
  • Ability to pass pre-hire drug screen and physical.
  • Ability to push and pull up to 300 pounds with no assistance.
