  • Sales Strategy Development: Assist in the creation of sales and marketing plans to drive customer acquisitions and achieve revenue and profit goals.
  • Product Knowledge: Work with subject matter experts to develop and maintain a deep understanding of Casella's products and services, enhancing selling opportunities.
  • Customer Retention: Seek opportunities to increase services to existing customers and develop a comprehensive account retention program within the defined territory.
  • Problem-Solving: Recognize and solve problems, developing quality cross-selling solutions with key team members.
  • Relationship Building: Maintain strong relationships with drivers, operations, customers, and customer service representatives to ensure the safest service procedures.
  • Administrative Tasks: Understand and utilize company pricing and profitability models, preparing and submitting all administrative paperwork for customer set up and account changes.
  • Performance Management: Utilize Microsoft Dynamics 365 to clearly and accurately set and communicate monthly goals and accomplishments, implementing effective time management goals in coordination with local management.
  • Training and Development: Attend all divisional and regional sales meetings to aid in training and increase networking opportunities, participating in training and other learning opportunities to expand knowledge of the company, products, sales, and services.
Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in business administration or marketing.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of sales experience, with a background or interest in the environmental or sustainability field.
  • Certifications: Relevant sales certifications.
  • Eligibility: Legally eligible to work in the US.
  • Travel: Ability to travel 80% of the time within a defined territory, including periodic overnight travel for regional training.
