About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Math Product Specialist to join our team at Great Minds (DC). As a key member of our Sales team, you will play a critical role in supporting and collaborating on new customer needs and sales opportunities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and Evaluate RFPs and State Adoption Submissions: Provide content area support and knowledge to ensure our math products meet the requirements of RFPs and State Adoption submissions.
  • Develop Crosswalks and Rubrics: Establish and write crosswalks and complete rubrics related to RFPs to determine if our products meet the deliverables.
  • Support RFP Team and Process: Collaborate with the RFP team to ensure our math products are well-represented and meet the needs of customers.
  • Evaluate and Analyze State Math Standards: Evaluate and analyze state math standards and requirements to meet sales and RFP opportunities for our math products.
  • Support Sales Team with Product Knowledge: Serve as a resource of content and pedagogy knowledge to support sales opportunities and provide product expertise to the Sales team.
  • Lead Trainings and Collaborate with Teams: Lead trainings for the Sales team on product features and benefits, and collaborate with product and sales teams to provide internal product training.
Requirements
  • 3+ Years of Experience in K-12 Education: Proven experience working in the K-12 education market with a deep focus and expertise in high-quality math curriculum.
  • Deep Knowledge of Great Minds' Eureka Math Products: A deep understanding of how our Eureka Math products align to market demand.
  • Alignment to Great Minds' Philosophy and Instructional Design: A deep respect for and alignment to the philosophy, instructional design, and pedagogy of our knowledge-building vision.
  • Excellent Stakeholder Management Skills: Strong stakeholder management skills, including sales team, content development teams, software engineers, and sales leadership.
  • Strong Analytical Thinking and Decision-Making Skills: Ability to anticipate challenges, issues, or opportunities and make informed decisions.
  • Collaborative Approach: Ability to work on cross-functional teams with a collaborative approach, equally comfortable talking content development with writers, tech with developers, user experience with designers, copy and positioning with product marketers.
  • Coaching and Feedback Experience: Demonstrated experience providing coaching and feedback to support the development of others.
  • Strong Organizational Habits: Strong organizational habits to ensure successful goal achievement and timely contributions to decision-making.
  • Attention to Detail: Outstanding capacity to handle precise and detail-oriented work.

  • Technical Skills: Proficiency with technology and comfortable learning new applications, including Smartsheet, SharePoint, Excel, InCopy, MS Office 365, and Google Suite.
