Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Retail Banking Specialist to join our team at Beal Nevada Service Corporation. As a key member of our retail banking team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and support to our customers, ensuring that all bank policies, procedures, and regulatory compliance are adhered to on a daily basis.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Provide warm and welcoming service to customers, responding to their inquiries and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Transaction Processing: Process a variety of customer transactions accurately and efficiently, including opening, servicing, and closing of all account products.
  • Community Involvement: Participate in Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) activities by volunteering during business hours with qualifying organizations.
  • Teller Transactions: Conduct teller transactions such as cashing checks, processing deposits and withdrawals, issuing Monetary Instruments, placing stop payments, etc.
  • Branch Duties: Perform opening, closing, and other branch duties, including balancing cash drawers and assisting with cash vault balancing.
  • Communication: Answer incoming phone calls, address customer questions and concerns, and escalate any problems or disputes to appropriate internal resources for resolution.
  • Documentation: Image documents and perform quality control checks.
  • Security: Practice branch security procedures and protect customer confidentiality and privacy.
Requirements
  • Experience: Prior experience as a teller or new account representative preferred.
  • Education: High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Skills: Proficiency with 10 key touch, Microsoft Office, and knowledge of or the ability to quickly learn banking software applications.
  • Personal Qualities: Professional appearance and demeanor, strong attention to detail, customer service orientation, effective problem-solving, and ability to maintain composure and a positive attitude when interacting with customers and team members.
