Logistics Analyst

This position is designed to support the operational needs of Brooksource's Technology Sourcing and Infrastructure (TSI) Team.

Overview of Responsibilities:

The selected candidate will serve as a key resource for various projects, ensuring that stakeholders are supported and that efficient global processes are adhered to. This role involves collaboration with both internal and external parties to achieve procurement objectives and enhance operational efficiencies.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Supporting cross-regional initiatives and adapting to new operational areas within the TSI logistics framework.
  • Contributing to global projects with minimal oversight by identifying discrepancies, engaging necessary resources, and proposing effective solutions.
  • Facilitating the execution and completion of projects to align with TSI Logistics objectives and driving improvements to ensure progress.
  • Understanding assigned tasks related to logistics, analytics, and invoice assessments, while proactively managing risks and escalating issues as necessary.
  • Communicating effectively with non-technical stakeholders to deliver solutions that meet both individual and service-level expectations.
  • Identifying data inaccuracies, engaging appropriate resources, and recommending solutions aligned with project objectives.
  • Collaborating with external vendors, customers, and partner teams in accordance with project requirements.
  • Demonstrating a capacity to contribute to global improvement initiatives with limited guidance from leadership.
  • Acting as the primary accountable leader for assigned projects, identifying process gaps, and ensuring adherence to global best practices.
  • Evaluating costs, benefits, and risks, and responding swiftly to high-priority issues through effective action and escalation.
  • Working alongside internal and third-party engineering teams to develop infrastructure solutions that align with project goals.
  • Creating gap analyses, functional specifications, and milestones in line with project objectives.
  • Documenting lessons learned for each project or task to foster continuous improvement.
  • Maintaining proactive communication with internal stakeholders to align on delivery timelines for successful project execution.
  • Exhibiting the ability to work independently while providing thorough reporting and adherence to project metrics.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, business, international business, or a related field (master's degree preferred).
  • 5+ years of relevant professional experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in program or project management.
  • 3+ years of experience in supply chain management.
  • 5+ years of proficiency in advanced Excel, SQL, or other relevant database querying languages.
  • 5+ years of experience with reporting tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
  • Fluency in English, both written and verbal.
  • Demonstrated ability to create metrics and present data effectively.
  • Strong analytical skills with the capability to extract and synthesize data for informed business decisions.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
