About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Procurement and Supply Chain Manager to join our team at Amazon Services LLC. As a key member of our Technology Sourcing and Infrastructure (TSI) Team, you will be responsible for leading logistics projects that drive supply chain process improvements, vendor partnerships, and efficiency gains in logistics for IT hardware.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute vendor relationships, mitigate risk, and manage key supply chain projects
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to create and leverage sourcing strategies, savings, and performance standards globally
  • Lead negotiations with partners, manage RFx's, and revolutionize how IT hardware is sourced at Amazon
  • Scrutinize supplier pricing structure, quotes, and resolve anomalies
  • Manage day-to-day supplier operational challenges, meet project deadlines, and effectively support ITS requirements
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, operations, engineering, analytics, or related field
  • 6+ years of supply chain experience
  • 3+ years of developing diverse supplier strategies and executing on sourcing activities experience
  • Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
  • Experience owning program strategy, end-to-end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
  • Experience in complex problem-solving and working in a tight schedule environment
  • Knowledge of Excel at an intermediate level (e.g., pivot tables & charts, multiple criteria lookups, nested logical/IF formulas, data cleansing, array formulas, etc.)
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree or MBA in supply chain management, operations, engineering, analytics, or related field
  • Experience in program or project management
