About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Photo Production Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth execution of photo shoots, from organizing and transporting merchandise to staging and setting up props and equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with producers to review and execute photo shoot plans, including ordering and organizing merchandise and props, prepping surfaces and equipment, and coordinating with vendors and suppliers.
  • Unpack and re-pack photo samples safely for transit between photo teams, warehouses, and locations.
  • Ensure all merchandise and props are returned with proper labeling and wrapping, and alert producers to any issues.
  • Maintain and update documentation of prop cages, surfaces, sample inventory, and studio crafty.
  • Assemble and set out breakfast daily, and keep crafty tables clean and organized.
  • Unload and reload trucks with merchandise, and drive company vehicles as needed.
  • Travel occasionally with photo teams for on-location shoots.

Requirements

  • A high school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience driving large trucks and a valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.
  • Ability to lift and move merchandise up to 75 pounds, and understanding of proper lifting techniques.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a detail-oriented and self-motivated approach.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, and ability to type on a computer and talk on a cell phone.
  • Ability to work in an office environment and perform tasks in a corporate setting.
