Job Summary

The School of Education at The California State University is seeking applications for a pool of qualified, temporary faculty to teach courses in the School of Education. The pool will be used to fill part-time, temporary faculty positions as needed. The pool will be active for one year from the date of the initial posting.

Responsibilities

  • Teach courses in the School of Education, including curriculum and instruction, educational leadership, and special education.
  • Develop and implement curriculum for courses in the School of Education.
  • Assess student learning and provide feedback to students.
  • Participate in departmental and university service, including committee work and advising students.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Education or related field from an accredited college or university.
  • Teaching experience in higher education, preferably in a teacher education program.
  • Experience working with diverse student populations.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Doctoral degree in Education or related field from an accredited college or university.
  • Experience teaching online or hybrid courses.
  • Experience with curriculum development and implementation.
  • Experience with assessment and evaluation of student learning.
