Job Summary:
  • Deliver a range of school health services to meet the diverse needs of students from preschool to young adulthood.
  • Collaborate effectively with school staff, parents, and healthcare providers to ensure students receive high-quality healthcare.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide medical care and support to students with various health needs.
  • Develop and implement individualized health plans to promote student well-being.
  • Conduct health assessments and screenings to identify potential health issues.
  • Administer medications and perform specialized physical healthcare procedures as needed.
Requirements:
  • Education: Associate's Degree in Licensed Vocational Nursing.
  • License: State of California LVN license.
  • Experience:
    • Experience working with children and young adults.
    • Experience working with diverse populations, including those with disabilities.
    • Experience with medication administration and specialized physical healthcare procedures.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Language Skills: Bilingual or multilingual proficiency, particularly in Spanish or other languages spoken in California.
