Job Summary

The Department of Environmental Studies at The California State University is seeking a qualified candidate for a Lecturer Pool in Environmental Studies. This is a temporary faculty position that will support the department's teaching needs.

Responsibilities

  • Teach courses in Environmental Studies, including introductory and advanced courses
  • Develop and implement curriculum that aligns with departmental goals and objectives
  • Advise students and provide mentorship
  • Participate in departmental and university service

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Environmental Studies or a related field
  • Experience in teaching college-level courses
  • Knowledge of interdisciplinary environmental studies

Preferred Qualifications

  • Ph.D. in Environmental Studies or a related field
  • Evidence of teaching effectiveness
