Position Overview:

As a pivotal member of our engineering leadership team, you will take charge of orchestrating and overseeing the execution of extensive, cross-functional initiatives within a dynamic environment. Your role will involve collaborating with diverse teams to conceptualize, develop, and deliver top-notch software solutions that cater to our members' requirements while aligning with our organizational objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage intricate, multi-disciplinary technology projects leveraging your techno-functional expertise.
  • Facilitate thorough planning through comprehensive discovery, scoping, and feature definition of programs, ensuring a clear understanding of detailed requirements with internal stakeholders.
  • Oversee project timelines, identify potential risks, and communicate them effectively to all relevant parties.
  • Comprehend system interdependencies and guide cross-functional teams towards effective technical solutions.
  • Articulate analyses and recommendations to senior management while discussing technical trade-offs in product development with engineering teams.
  • Proactively communicate program progress, identify risks and challenges, and devise strategies for mitigation.
  • Establish best practices in a fluid and evolving environment to guarantee timely project delivery.
  • Ensure that program documentation is thorough, up-to-date, and accessible for review by staff and leadership.
  • Contribute to resource planning to secure program success and drive internal process enhancements across various teams and functions.

Qualifications:

  • At least 10 years of experience in technology, with a preference for retail experience.
  • Demonstrated expertise in engineering, program management, technical program management, or related fields, collaborating with engineering teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
  • In-depth knowledge of the phases involved in technical project implementation, including analysis, design, development, testing, and deployment.
  • Experience in gathering business requirements from stakeholders and translating them into technical specifications.
  • Proven ability to manage priorities in collaboration with engineering teams.
  • Experience working with product and engineering teams to define needs, metrics, and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), articulating technology requirements, goals, and milestones.
  • Strong grasp of software development methodologies, particularly Agile and Scrum.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the capability to collaborate effectively across diverse teams.
  • Robust analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a knack for identifying and resolving complex technical challenges.
