Internal Medicine Hospitalist Position

Join a dynamic team in a beautiful coastal region as an Inpatient Physician. This position is designed for an internal medicine trained physician to deliver comprehensive inpatient care at a single facility. You will collaborate with two other experienced hospitalists to manage patient admissions, discharges, and consultations as required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide inpatient services exclusively at one hospital.
- Complete all necessary admissions, discharges, and consults.
- Conduct stress testing both in the hospital and at the outpatient testing department.
- Participate in traditional inpatient duties with a call schedule of 1:6.
Practice Environment:
- Work within a multi-specialty group setting.
- Board certification or eligibility is required, leading to board certification.
- Employment position with a pathway to shareholder status.
- Two-year contract with potential for bonuses based on performance.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Competitive salary aligned with AMGA/MGMA median.
- Comprehensive benefits package including malpractice coverage, professional dues (up to $750/year), health, life, and disability insurance.
- Paid time off totaling 19 days per year, plus 5 CME days.
- Annual stipend of $1,000 for continuing medical education expenses.
- Pension and profit-sharing opportunities after the first year of employment.
