Program Support Specialist

Join ChildCareGroup, a leading organization championing a strong early childhood system, as a Program Support Specialist. This role is a key part of our Texas Rising Star program, which aims to support early learning programs in Dallas and Southeast Texas.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate and implement program activities, ensuring timely documentation and uploads to relevant systems.
  • Schedule site visits with assessors and early learning programs, managing communication and follow-up.
  • Track application and assessment activity, updating state databases and notifying program staff as needed.
  • Manage assignments of early learning programs to mentors, assessors, and support staff.
  • Process invoices and correspond with Workforce Solutions for payment of services.
  • Conduct quarterly licensing screenings and route results to supervisors for review.
  • Represent ChildCareGroup at community training events, conferences, and meetings as assigned.
Requirements:
  • High School diploma required; Associates Degree in Business, Project Management, or related field preferred.
  • 2 years' experience in office settings, project coordination, and/or program support functions.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office and document imaging systems.
  • Ability to work within a team, demonstrate initiative, and exhibit a friendly and professional demeanor.
  • Valid Texas driver's license, reliable transportation, and liability insurance coverage.
