About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Customer Service Representative at Par Pacific. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, ensuring a positive experience for our customers, and contributing to the success of our fuel station.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide friendly, smiling service to customers, making their lives a little easier.
  • Assist customers with fueling, sales, and other transactions, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Operate the point-of-sale system, handling cash, credit card transactions, and other forms of payment.
  • Restock inventory, maintain a clean and organized store, and perform basic upkeep and cleaning of equipment.
  • Assist with receiving, stocking, and organizing merchandise, as well as maintaining proper inventory levels and shift audits.
  • Participate in safety programs and trainings, attending mandatory job-related meetings and trainings as needed.
  • Perform cleaning duties necessary to maintain site cleanliness inside and out, and basic upkeep and/or cleaning of all equipment on the site.
Requirements
  • Ability to perform basic math accurately.
  • Effective communication and telephone skills, with the ability to communicate in English (orally and in writing).
  • Ability to work various shifts as scheduled, and arrive on time.
  • Ability to work with equipment, tools, and materials as required.
  • Ability to perform essential duties and work in the conditions described.
  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
Working Conditions

The ability to stand and/or walk for an entire shift, with frequent reaching, gripping, wrist movement, and finger dexterity required. Ability to push/pull with arms up to a force of 20 pounds, and frequent lifting of 20 pounds or less from floor to waist, overhead, and carry a short distance. Sometimes required to lift in excess of stated conditions up to 50 pounds. Ability to climb a ladder to store or retrieve materials, and/or place or remove signs.
