Your primary duties and responsibilities include:
- Acquaintance with Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM), Creaform, Faro Arm, and Polyworks Inspector, along with other comparable metrology software.
- Understanding of turbomachinery principles.
- Proficiency with precision measuring instruments (micrometers, calipers, height gauges, depth gauges, etc.).
- Familiarity with Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) according to ASME Y14.5M-2009 standards.
- Knowledge of Autodesk Inventor, Vault, and AutoCAD software.
- Strong capabilities in computer usage, as well as written and verbal communication.
To excel in this position, you will need:
- To utilize quality assurance tools and software to conduct in-process and final inspections of both new and refurbished components.
- To interpret approved schematics to carry out necessary inspections and generate supporting documentation.
- A keen eye for detail and precision.
- The ability to operate independently in a dynamic work environment.
