We are seeking a skilled and dedicated High School Math Teacher to join our faculty at Unity Preparatory Charter School of Brooklyn. Our school is committed to providing a personalized, inclusive, and well-rounded education to students in grades 6-12.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and facilitate standards-aligned, engaging lessons for high school students.
  • Differentiate instruction to cater to diverse learning styles and provide remediation to ensure student growth.
  • Model and promote healthy habits and character skills among students through our strong school culture.
  • Grow and develop your craft as an exceptional educator and contribute to our school community through our career pathways and promotion system.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree with a teaching certification in New York.
  • 2+ years of formal teaching experience in New York.
  • Demonstrable skill in accelerating student growth and mastery.
  • Adeptness in differentiating instruction to support a diverse range of learners and readiness levels.
  • Ability to plan rigorous, engaging, and culturally responsive curricula that align with New York State learning standards.
  • Exhibits a balance of high expectations and high support, a growth mindset, and an innate joy in working with adolescents.
  • Strong interpersonal and classroom management skills with a focus on building productive relationships with students and families.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills and skilled in working collaboratively in team settings.
