We are seeking a skilled and dedicated High School Math Teacher to join our talented faculty at Unity Preparatory Charter School of Brooklyn. About the Role

As a High School Math Teacher, you will be responsible for planning and facilitating engaging lessons, differentiating instruction to cater to diverse learning styles, and providing remediation to ensure all students demonstrate growth. You will also model and actively build healthy habits and character skills among our students through the promotion of Unity's strong and vibrant school culture.

Key Qualifications
  • Master's degree with a teaching certification in New York.
  • 2+ years of formal teaching experience in New York.
  • Demonstrable skill in accelerating student growth and mastery.
  • Adeptness in differentiating instruction to fully support a diverse range of learners and readiness levels.
  • Ability to plan rigorous, engaging, and culturally responsive curricula that align with New York State learning standards.
  • Exhibits a balance of high expectations and high support, a growth mindset, and an innate joy in working with adolescents.
  • Strong interpersonal and classroom management skills with a focus on building productive relationships with students and families.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills and skilled in working collaboratively in team settings.
