Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Cheerleading Coach to lead our girls' cheerleading team at Northside Charter High School. The ideal candidate will have a passion for cheerleading, a commitment to developing student-athletes, and the ability to foster teamwork, sportsmanship, and personal growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and conduct regular practices for individual teams.
  • Attend all scheduled meets, practices, and events unless otherwise excused.
  • Promote sportsmanship, teamwork, and skill development among student-athletes.
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of all student-athletes during practices and games.
  • Abide by the rules and regulations set forth by Northside Charter High School, the Athletic Department, and League governing body.
  • Perform any other duties reasonably related to coaching the cheerleading team as assigned by the Athletic Director/Student Services.
  • Proper use, maintenance, and upkeep of equipment and uniforms throughout the season.

Qualifications

  • Previous coaching experience is preferred.
  • In-depth knowledge of cheerleading rules, techniques, and strategies.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to motivate and inspire student-athletes.
  • Commitment to fostering a positive and supportive team environment.
  • CPR and First Aid certification (preferred).

Compensation

  • A stipend amount of $5000 will be paid, spread evenly throughout the season.
