Job Summary

LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a highly skilled Global Procurement Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our supply chain team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing innovative procurement strategies to streamline our supply chain and boost efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement strategic procurement plans to meet business objectives.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to understand their purchasing needs and ensure effective supply chain management.
  • Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and assess their capabilities and offerings.
  • Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing with suppliers to secure the best deals for our organization.
  • Monitor supplier performance and address any issues or concerns promptly.
  • Maintain optimal inventory levels to ensure timely delivery of materials.
  • Collaborate with production planning and purchasing teams to guarantee smooth production and delivery.
  • Ensure all procurement activities comply with federal acquisition regulations and other relevant guidelines.
  • Conduct root cause analysis to identify and resolve any supply chain disruptions or quality issues.
Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of experience in procurement or supply chain management.
  • Solid understanding of the procure-to-pay process.
  • Experience working with international suppliers.
  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, or a related field; experience in a manufacturing plant is a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of materials management, category management, and contract management principles.
  • Familiarity with quality management systems and root cause analysis techniques.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in using procurement software and tools.
  • Ability to thrive in a collaborative, cross-functional team environment.
