Lead Financial Analyst Responsibilities:

  • Engage in a variety of financial functions including accounting, budgeting, payroll management, procurement, and financial evaluation.
  • Generate, reconcile, and disseminate financial statements for multiple funding sources.
  • Take on additional tasks that necessitate advanced analysis and specialized knowledge.

Key Duties:

  • Support the creation and distribution of financial reports.
  • Oversee cash balances, strategically invest funds, and ensure effective cash management practices.
  • Review and monitor funding obligations.
  • Conduct financial and data analysis as needed.
  • Assist with account verification, expense documentation, and resolution of financial discrepancies.

Finance Analyst Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the budget and finance team communications and escalate issues when necessary.
  • Assist in account preparation, payroll modifications, and payment processing.
  • Provide backup support within the team as required.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree is required for both Lead Financial Analyst and Finance Analyst roles.
  • A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience is required for the Finance Analyst position.
  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience is required for the Lead Financial Analyst position.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
