Ultrasound Technologist Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Ultrasound Technologist Lead to join our team at DMC Sinai-Grace Hospital. As a key member of our Diagnostic Imaging Department, you will be responsible for coordinating the flow of work, delegating tasks, and ensuring that our ultrasound procedures are performed to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate and supervise the work of ultrasound technologists, ensuring that procedures are performed efficiently and effectively.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve the quality and safety of ultrasound services.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure that patients receive the best possible care.
- Monitor and maintain equipment, supplies, and facilities to ensure optimal performance and safety.
- Provide training and guidance to new staff members and students.
- Registered by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Sonography (S).
- At least two years of progressively more responsible ultrasound technologist experience.
- Excellent analytical, clinical, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks accordingly.
- Knowledge of American College of Radiology (ACR) requirements for accreditation.
