Job Summary

DMC Sinai-Grace Hospital is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Ultrasound Technologist to join our team. As a key member of our Diagnostic Imaging department, you will be responsible for leading and guiding our ultrasound technologists in providing exceptional patient care and diagnostic services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and coordinate the work of ultrasound technologists, ensuring efficient and effective workflow.
  • Provide guidance and training to technologists on new procedures and equipment.
  • Monitor and maintain high-quality imaging standards, ensuring compliance with departmental policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and patient care.
  • Develop and implement quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient satisfaction and outcomes.
  • Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to the development of policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Registered by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) in Sonography (S).
  • Two or more years of progressively responsible ultrasound technologist experience.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work productively and effectively within a complex environment, handling multiple/changing priorities.
  • Knowledge and understanding of American College of Radiology requirements for accreditation.
Working Conditions

This is a full-time position, working 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday through Friday. The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced environment, with frequent walking, standing, lifting, and positioning of patients.
